Since updating my ipad 2 to latest software the battery becomes to drain fast lasting for 8 or 9 hours hope it will be fixed in the upcoming update

iMessage broken on ipad tethered via Bluetooth since iOS 6 update, and wasn't fixed with yesterday's update 6.0.1. Is this a known issue that apple will fix for us!?
Anyone still having issue with this?
Is apple even aware of the problem?
