iTunes Radio unavailable on ipad

I have been using iTunes Radio since last week (love it, by the way), but yesterday it stopped working on my iPad. It continues to work fine on all my other devices (2 Macs, AppleTV, 2 iPhones), but on my iPad it attempts to play a song, fails to start, and then shows a message "iTunes Radio Unavailable. iTunes Radio is temporarily unavailable. Try again later". I tried to restart the iPad, turn it off etc. but the problem continues. I also tried to sign out of iTunes Match, from the iTunes Store, and it didn't help either. Any ideas, anyone?

ipad 2 with now IOS 7. No itunes radio button.

When I go to the itunes store, and tap on radio station guide, press a station it says to "turn on iTunes Radio to listen to this station". How do I turn on the radio?

Alternative attempts:

tap "learn about itunes radio" sends me to screen to tap "go to itunes radio" but when I tap it it sends me to my old genius mixes of my currently purchased songs. Still no radio.

Sonos system, can't listen to I radio.!

It's really sad after being a fanboy and a stock holder for 30 years of so. We a

Have a Sonos music system , a company that is private but Apple should buy it. We now have music in every room of our home due to the slick and easy Sonos music system.

Our choice has gone from Iradio on iTunes to any other station. Sad we have to travel From Iradio to rhapsody, spotify, or the others.

It's sad we have to get other stations to get the slick wireless music and 100,000 s of other used the be all Apple people.

Please allow them in to the moat!

Re: Is anyone else having problems getting BBC iplayer radio to work?

It seems to be working ok mine. Have you tried closing the iPlayer Radio app via your iPad's multitasking bar and seeing if it works when you re-open it ? Double-click the home button to open the taskbar, and then swipe or drag the iPlayer Radio app's screen from there up and off the top of the screen to close it, and click the home button to close the taskbar.

If that doesn't fix it then you could try a soft-reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

If that doesn't work either then you could try deleting the app and redownload it via the Purchased tab in the App Store app
