how do i go about asking for a refund for an in-app purchase made in error.

i bought an in-app non-exchangable item on 'Monopoly Hotels', thinking I was logged into my 'Orgin-based game, only to find I wasn't so my purchase went through onto an account I no longer have access to. How do I go about getting a refund?

I've tried asking EA Games (the developers) if they would be willing to refund me but I have yet to receive a reply.

I've tried coming through here via the 'Report A Problem' link but got nothing relating to a refund or how to get one.

Where can I find refund policy for an App Store purchase?

Where can I find how to get a refund for a purchase?

My most recent purchase for an App was $50, and since there is disagreement as to why it doesn't work (TomTom GPS app or Apple iOS), I would like to get my money back.

Yes. I've search the forums and tried the suggestions of giving the TT app solitary use of the Location Services, resetting my iTouch 4G and my New iPad Retina each, and still no GPS connection, whether I try using an AT&T MiFi or tethering to my wife's iPad mini with Verizon cellular showing LTE as a HotSpot.

 

Or do I just intact my VISA card issuer to deny the purchase?

Paid app subscription stopped after restore. How to get a refund?

So I purchased a subscription:

 

Ultimate Guitar Tabs HD - Subscription, 12 Months Subscription
Report a Problem
Ultimate GuitarIn-App Purchase$7.99

 

I contacted the developer and they asked me to do some basic things like restart my ipad and then log into their site and create an account. Finally, they stopped responding. I know it's only $7.99 but I feel so ripped off that I've spent at least 2 hours of time and energy on this so far.

 

The app was purchased for an ipad 3 that I had for a couple of weeks before it went into an endless loop. The Apple Store replaced it with a new one. And when I tried to restore the app subscription I got a message that said " you do not have any subscriptions to restore".

 

It seems there is no provision for disputing or resolving bad apps. At least from all the time I've spent searching. The emailed receipt has a link that says "report a problem" and when I click on it it takes me to a sea of discussions and FAQs.

 

I want to pursue this because, again, I feel so ripped off. It seems that Apple does not have a system to resolve issues...or it is hidden or buried somewhere.

 

Any suggestions?

Downloaded the piano keyboard app and will not work at all...also no sound. This app only. Refund??

Try a couple of basic troubleshooting steps,

Quit the app completely and restart the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the task bar will appear with all of your recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Restart the iPad.

Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Delete the app and reinstall. You will not have to pay for it again as long as you use the same Apple ID that you bought it with. Hold down on the icon until it jiggles, then tap the X on the icon to delete the app. Tap the home button to stop the apps from jiggling. Go back to the App Store purchased tab and download the app again.
