I can't "close" a book to access to my bookshelf or my library. Must I uninstall Overdrive and loose everything?
I downloaded an ebook that a friend sent using my Overdrive app. Once the book was downloaded it opened fine
But now I can't "close" the book so that I can access my bookshelf or library. Please HELP !

To sync my mom's iPad, iTunes is saying I need to uninstall and reinstall the 64-bit version, but that is the version I already installed. Thoughts?
I am trying to upgrade the iOS on her 1st generation iPad, but I can't even get iTunes to recognize her iPad. When I plug the iPad in, iTunes gives me a popup that says "This iPad cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64-bit version of iTunes." The thing is, I have already went through the troubleshooter's steps of restarting the iPad, restarting my computer, uninstalling all my Apple software, verifying the files were deleted, and then reinstalling iTunes. And yes, I installed the 64-bit version of iTunes. I have a PC running 64-bit Windows 7. Any thoughts? All are appreciated!

ipod software will not uninstall
I had software for an older ipod gen 1 click installed on my windows 7 64bit. I tried to unistall with windows uninstal in control panel. It would not uninstall using the uninstall option in control pane.
Next I tried a product called revo uninstall pro. The process seemed to work until I tried to install itunes and I got an error message that says that itunes could not upgrade the ipod software.
Any help out there for this problem? I need itunes on the pc to sync my iphone and my ipad. And i guess icloud.
