I bought an IPAD 4th gen from US and brought it to Hungary,,it's cellular and there was a verizon sim card inside it,,i removed it but in the system information it said that the carrier is verison,,now is it possible to use a local sim card?

SIM Card got stuck inside the iPad mini
I tried to insert the SIM card inside the SIM tray, but the tray is out and SIM card is stuck inside.
I bought mine from US, but i live in Egypt. Can anyone know if the warranty is valid in another country??
