I have 76 songs on my iPad and when I go onto iTunes (via laptop) only around 20 of them show up? (Along with CDs I have put on there but not synced to iPad)
I think it is because I have connected my iPad with a different laptop before but I haven't synced/downloaded music from that one?
What can I do to get all of them there because I don't want to sync and lose my songs?
when i drag any song in my itunes library, it comes up with the restricted access sign, so i cannot sync it to me ipad.
ive triied reinstalling itunes and deauthorising and authorising it again, ive tried everything. what is wrong and what can i do, please help me, i am crying.
I got myself into this mess by downloading an album containing 100 tracks, most of which I don't want and will NEVER want. So
I tried to delete the ones I don't want from my music library, but instead of deleting them they now have a cloud with down arrow symbol. My research so far informs me that this symbol means they are on my iCloud. I'Ve been trying find out how to delete them from EVERYWHERE as I don't want them anywhere for hours now and am my wits end! Help!!
When I transfer my playlist from my itunes library on my desktop to my iPad I end up with my playlist as well as a songs list on my iPad. Can I delete one of the two lists on the iPad without loosing the other list?
The time between songs is too short on my iPad. How can I adjust this?

I have songs in iTunes with the dotted white circle next to the track names that will not delete. They show up on my iPad when connected to iTunes but are no longer on the device. My Dad and a couple others bought music on my iPad using their iTunes accounts. I have deleted the albums as I don't want them anymore. They don't not show on the iPad, but when I plug it into iTunes and look at what "What's on my iPad" it has the albums and songs bought, but they are greyed out. I delete them, and then when I plug my iPad in again and they re-appear. This is doing my head in, I don't know how to stop it.
I was recently in an Apple approved retailer from whom I have ordered my new 2013 iMAC 27. I asked how I could ensure that my IPAD (first generation) and IPHone 4 could be backed up to the new compurter without losing my data. I do not want my data on the cloud and I am trying to do a new install with as few caary-overs as possibe.
I ma on an old IMAC 24 running Leopard.
I know how to move my Itunes library.
The shop said simply put your back-up in the right location in the Library and do a restore from back-up and all will be well. Does this work?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
So, I have a pc, iPhone 3GS and a IPad 3rd generation. I got the phone a long time ago and sadly the computer I originally synced it on is broken and so I have to use my new pc, is there any way that I could sync my phone on the new pc without loosing all my music? I understand that the music I have bought via iTunes will
Be safe due to the iCloud but what about the music I got through CDs? If I don't own the CDs anymore will I just loose the music? If so I think this is a giant inconvenience that apple should certainly seek to improve their service for consumers in my circumstances.
Thanks for the help! :)

I signed up for iTunes Match a couple of days ago, from my PC. All my songs were uploaded to the cloud. I then turned on iTunes Match on my iPad and it was working fine. Today however, when I tap music on my iPad, all my songs are now gone. The only message is: "No Music". How can I get iTunes Match to work again on my iPad?
