Re: my ipad2 is not connecting wi fi

Have you tried the following?

1. Turn router off for 30 seconds and on again.

2. Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings.

Re: wifi connecting

Quit the Settings app completely and reboot the iPad.

Tap the home button.

Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on the Settings app icon until it begins to wiggle.

Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the Settings app.

Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

If that let's you back into the settings app, you might want to try Settings>WiFi>Your network name>Tap the blue Arrow>Forget this Network. Restart your iPad and then go back to the WiFi settings, find your network and try to join again.Or Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings. Restart the iPad, go back to the WiFi setting, find your network and try to join again.

Apple TV not connecting to iPhone / iPad at home over Xfinity wifi, connects when on my work network. Please help!

I have a 3rd gen iPad, an iPhone 5 and 3rd gen ATV, all have been updated to latest OS. The iPhone and iPad easliy connect to the Apple TVs that we've got at work on our corporate network, but do not connect on my home network. Sometimes, if I'm lucky, they'll connect for about 5 minutes and then disappear. Really frustrating!

I'm on Xfinity wireless at home, and the router is Arris TG852. I'm not technicaly at all when it comes to routers or home networking. Someone said that my home network might be preventing the devices from talking to each other..

Can anyone help please? I'd apprecaite any assistance just to get it working normally! Thanks!

"Not charging" when connecting ipad 4 to iTunes

I recently bought the new ipad 4 (16gb, wi-fi). When plugging the ipad 4 into itunes on my PC, it correctly syncs all my data, however, on the ipad 4 itself, it says "Not charging." My laptop uses USB 2.0 ports with Windows 8.

Does anyone know how to fix this? Lightning cord issues? Deffective cord?

Thanks in advance!

USING:

- ipad 4 w/ iOS: 6.0.1

- windows 8 w/ USB 2.0 ports
