Re: iPad AIR (7.04) won't stop Rebooting itself. Reset does not solve.

Sadly it seems the iPad AIR and IOS is not fully booted enough for iCloud to find my  device.

It shiws "offline"  on www.icloud.com after logging on.

Now attempting iTunes 11.1.3 . Jyst installed it in Windows 7 64bit PC

PC detects apple device through USB

iTunes after the setup attemots to connect to it, but fails with a popup:

"ITunes could not connect ti iPad AIR 'iPad AIR Erwin'  because it is blocked with a passcode. YOu must enter your passcode on the iPad befire it can be used with iTunes"

Well... nice indeed huh ?

It detects my device with correct name, senses it has passcode and is blocked....

But i cannir enter the code on the iPad since it is 'still' booting ( small white icon wheel that hardly is twirling)

Thus is a deadlock. Cannot factory reset because i cannot enter the code !?

Ipad 3 64GB wifi resets itself

I bought my ipad 3 in the first week of its release but I cannot remember the exact purchase date.

In the past 12 months it has reset itself 3 times. First two times it happened was last summer and fall.

I was at home so restore was easy and I did not bother reporting this incident.

 

Right now I am traveling overseas with very young kids. We used ipad to keep my 3 year old busy during 18 hour flights.

A few days ago ipad reset itself. This has been tough because we will return to united states next weekend.

I have had to get broadband installed to restore the ipad. I was unable to restore the movies. Internet speed is not great.

I have had to buy new movies from iTunes to make the return flight bearable.

 

After this I cannot imagine traveling with ipad again until this issue is fixed.

 

I don't remember what my support options are. I will not be back in US until end of this month and I am certain that I will be over 1 year purchase anniversary.

 

 

Let me know if you have any suggestions for me.

Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Release the Buttons.

When should mirroring turn itself off?

I have the latest aTV, and an iPad2, both running latest software.

When I turn on Mirroring on the iPad, it does as expected, and iPad screen is mirrored on TV.

 

At what point should mirroring stop if at all?

 

e.g. When I use the aTV remote's 'menu' button, mirroring and Airplay are reset on the IPad, is this normal behaviour? There seems to be a distinct lack of instructions on how to use the aTV, or is it me?
