Re: My ipad was dropped - how do i transfer content to new one?

I use Macs rather than PCs, but it ought to go something like this:

* Connect the broken iPad to the PC and launch iTunes.

* Use iTunes to make a backup of the broken iPad.

* Disconnect the broken iPad.

* Connect the new iPad to the PC.

* Use iTunes to initiate a restore from the backup of the old iPad.

I dropped my IPAD and now the pictures look like they have 3d lighting

The Basic Troubleshooting Steps are:

Restart... Reset... Restore from Backup...  Restore as New...

Restart / Reset  >  http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

Backing up, Updating and Restoring >  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414

If you try all these Steps and you still have issues... Then a Visit to an Apple Store or AASP (Authorized Apple Service Provider) is the Next Step... Be sure to make an appointment first...

iPad won't start after heavy object dropped in it

It is, to paraphrase Monty Python, "a late iPad". My condolences.

Apple does out of warranty replacements which are less than the full price of a device. You might also try third party repair outfits.

Best of luck.

Since updating ipad2 to ios 6 my wifi range has dropped and I cannot even connect when in next room to router. I have done a full factory reset with no improvement

1. Temporarily disable the Wi-Fi security (WEP/WPA/WPA2) and test connectivity. The Wi-Fi security may be causing the problem.

2. Also try using different channel e.g. 1, 6 or 11

3. Also try updating the router software.

iPad dropped, now with red screen/background

I've had the original iPad for several months now, and it has been working fine.  However, yesterday, the iPad was dropped (a couple of inches from the ground), and now the background screen is red.  You can still see the icons and the iPad remains fully functional, except for the red discoloration in the background.  For example, when you play a video, the letterbox is now red instead of black.

Has anyone experienced this before?  I've synced it, but no effect.  Don't want to try a full restore unless it's absolutely necessary.  I've read on the net that it may be corrected over time?

Thanks in advance.

Dropped my iPad. Screen won't turn on.

Basically, my daughter dropped my iPad on the hardwood floor.  It IS PROTECTED with a Vera Bradley hard cover but, it will not turn on.  It does have a slight backlight that I can see however; it will not do anything.  I am PANICKING!  Please advise!  Thank you in advance!
