My iPad is disabled to the point of 'Connect to iTunes', when I first got it, I synced it to iTunes. However, my laptop needed repair and Acer wiped all the data, now I cannot unlock my iPad.

I have put it restore mode by holding the 'home' button and connecting it to my computer, but then it asks me to 'update and restore'. All good there, until.. After downloading about 200mb of the update, it gives me an error message telling me that iTunes cannot connect to this iPad because I require a passcode to unlock to iPad. It seems to be one big vicious loop. Please help if possible.

Re: My iPad is disabled to the point of 'Connect to iTunes', when I first got it, I synced it to iTunes. However, my laptop needed repair and Acer wiped all the data, now I cannot unlock my iPad.

You may want to try DFU Mode

1. Turn off device

2. Hold down power button for 3 seconds

3. Without releasing the power button, also hold the Home button for 10 seconds

4. Without releasing the Home button, release the power button and keep holding the Home button for 20 seconds

iTune will identify that you are in DFU Mode

I am trying to send one of my apple products away for repair, but I cannot enter my postcode (Australian postcode).  This is the error I get - "That postal code format is incorrect. Please try again."  What should the postal code format be?

Thanks!
