I downloaded an ebook that a friend sent using my Overdrive app. Once the book was downloaded it opened fine
But now I can't "close" the book so that I can access my bookshelf or library. Please HELP !

Just had the latest update , don't like it. How do I close open applications now .? There are no longer any x on the open pages
Close Apps
1. Double tap the home button to bring up the multi-tasking view
2. Swipe up on the screenshot of the app you want to exit.
3. The app will fly off the screen

iCloud backup window will not close . . ? stays open and block main screen use
Reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

I have in my ipad icloud backup window open and I can't close and I can't do anything I tried to press OK and nothing happen is freezing
Have you tried a soft-reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Re: I've just created a new account but when I now try to download an app it defaults back to my previous address I had to close?
II've just created a new apple Id & account but when I try to download an app the box that appears on your I pad defaults back to my old apple id to which I had to close down as this was a mail address that got hacked.
how do I change this to show my new account? I presumed that once new id had been created then this should of updated automatically.

How do I close a spreadsheet attachment to an email so I can get back to the mail? I can't seem to close the attachment
I do not seem to be able to close a spreadsheet attachment in mail so I can get back to my inbox, I cannot get the close button to appear at the top left of the screen. I haven't had this problem previously.

Can't Close "Find my Ipad" warning
Hello. Today I updated my iPad 2 to ios 6.1 . Then,I sent a "Find my iPad" warning, just to try. Now, there is a warning on the screen and I can't close it. There is a ok button but nothing happens when I click it. I can't do anything to the ipad.
