When I transfer my playlist from my itunes library on my desktop to my iPad I end up with my playlist as well as a songs list on my iPad. Can I delete one of the two lists on the iPad without loosing the other list?

Greeting All,
My wife has the ipad mini and spends all her time reading books on ot but now wants to listen to her own choice of music so my question is, can she listen to her playlist whilst at the same time read her books?
Thanks
Hello,
I created a playlist on my iPhone that I really like. I don't see how to transfer it to my iPad. I was going to transfer that playlist to iTunes 11 and then to the iPad but I can't see how to do that. I really don't want to have to manually create the playlist on iTunes 11. Plus, I add songs onto the iPhone playlist. So I want to transfer that every once and a while. Thank you.
I am trying to take 5 songs i downloaded and make a 'playlist' but can't seem to figure out how to move them?
I just loaded up my new iPad 3 and everything seemed fine until I tried to play songs. The iPad would play the song after the one I selected, even though it tells me it is playing the song I selected. Rebuilt my music from itunes, reset my settings, turned my iPad off, but still the issue is not fixed. Anyone else have this issue (and anyone have a resolution???)
