Lost my TIM phone carrier on my Ipad

Hi.

After my last flight, I switch off the "On Flight" option on Iad Menu.

From that time on, my Ipad lost the carrier definition on the Ipad Menu (in Italan "GESTORE").

In order to fix the problem, I've tried to start a rest but, unortunatelly, I choose the wrong option by choosing the total restore.

I arrive to setup my home wireless but at that time the Ipad stop the initialistion.

Then I've tried to do it via iTunes. I connect the Ipad to my PC, I open Itunes on my PC, then I connect Ipad and ITUnes stay in loop trying to connect it.

Who can give me some suggestion ?

Thanks

Cellular Data "DNS Server Failure" with Ipad 4Gen despite carrier and 5 bars present

I am currently deployed to Afghanistan, and I have an Ipad 4th Gen with an Etisalat (Local carrier) Microsim for cellular data only.

Normally, when I have "Etisalat AF E" in the upper left corder of the screen with a spinning wheel, I have always had an internet connection. The last 24 hours however, I get the same  "Etisalat AF E" display but no internet connection -- and when I try to connect I get the "The server cant be found because the DNS lookup failed".

Keep in mind I'm in a remote part of Afghanistan so there is so WiFi and no 3G. I already tried the factory APN settings to no avail.

I've rebooted, reset network settings, took out the microsim and put it back in etc. Nothing works -- Facetime, chat, Instagram, gmail, Safari, Chrome etc.

My questions are:

1) Is it the Sim card?

2) Is it the carrier?

3) Is it the Ipad?

I lost service mid-browsing about 36 hours ago. Very odd. Maybe the Taliban knocked out the server or the Army is jamming.

How do i know which carrier my ipad is, and can i use all network data plans? (Three Network)

Im going to order an Ipad with Retina display. I would really like to get a micro-sim from the network Three - as they seem to do the best offers. Problem is, I have read/heard people say that you have to check the carrier of your ipad, as different Ipad carriers can use different Networks?

Have original IPAD that allowed you to choose your carrier during set up. I want to change from Verizon to AT

I have the original iPad that allowed me to choose my data carrier during set up. I want to change from Verizon to AT&T . Is it possible?

Re: Have original IPAD that allowed you to choose your carrier during set up. I want to change from Verizon to AT

There was no original iPad for Verizon. Only AT&T and WiFi. The iPad 2 came in a verison for Verizon. However, it is CDMA only (the network technology that Verizon has been using) and does not have a SIM card slot. The iPads 3 and 4 for Verizon can, apparently be used on AT&T but 3G only, not LTE.
