I have an ipad3 and iphone5. I have my bigpond email attached to both. Is there any way I can delete read emails off my ipad and it auto deletes them off my iphone (or visa versa?)
It's really frustrating I have to go into both devices to delete emails off them. I don't want to delete them off my PC, I know how to connect both so it deletes off my server if i need to. I just want to delete off ipad and it goes off iphone too.
I apologise if this has already been asked, but I couldn't find exactly what I wanted in any searches.

AirDrop is available but AirPlay is not on my MacBook Air (2010).
I know that this is because the lack of hardware support for on-the-fly video compression.
But then, why can i use AirPlay perfectly well on my iPad2 (2011), but AirDrop is an unavailable feature in iOS 7??
MacBook Air and iPad 2 both have Wifi a/b/g/n and bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.
If there is no good reason for this inconvenience, how can they get away with making 2 year old hardware obsolete??
You would probably better off asking in the game developer's support forum, but if you are saying that the game is frozen and you can't navigate out of the screen, reboot your iPad.

I think it isn't possible to just swap them. I seem to recall that it required a third email address. I changed my rescue email address to the third email address. Once that went through and was verified, I put the previous rescue address in as the main address. Once that went through, I put the original main address back in as the rescue address.
Of course, I did this all before some of the more recent changes. I don't know how the system would feel about that many address swaps now.

Apple does out of warranty replacements which are less than the full price of a device. You might also try third party repair outfits.

I recently bought an iPad mini. I really like it. There are times though when I'd like to sort of use it as a laptop computer, in which case I guess I'd being using the wireless Mac keyboard, which I already had, and a wireless mouse or the wireless trackpad.
Find and dandy. I was able to pair the iPad Mini with the wireless Bluetooth mouse without a problem. However, when I try to pair it with the TrackPad, no joy. The TrackPad doesn' even show up in the device list. I am able to pair the same TrackPad with my iMac just fine, and, yes, I did unpair it with the iMac after testing.
Any suggestions?

Your scenario description sounds strongly like you are being asked for the backup encryption password. If you cannot remember it, these paragraphs apply:

Did they suggest resetting the settings on the iPad? You want to try to restore the iPod settings to the iPad anyway (correct ?) so if you reset the iPad settings that might help. When you reset all settings, you return the device settings back to factory defaults. You will not lose any data, apps, music.... Anything like that. But you have to enter all of the device preferences in the settings app again.
If you want to try this .... On the iPad go to Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings. Then try to restore from the backup again.
This a mobile redirect for adult sites and if you google it you'll find that it being used, embedded in web pages, to "sell" their traffic.
It's no longer limited to adult sites as you've just found out.
It can't work effectively on your iPad, no Flash, but it is annoying and potentially a hazard.
Reset the iPad and restore settings and data from your back up.

I'm new to this forum, so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong location.
Basically, my problem is that, when I go on my Facebook app, every time time I type a key on the touch pad key board, a spark/crackle sound comes from the speaker. It's sort of like that crackle sound you hear when there's a wire bent or broken in your speakers, except its only one crackle sound each time I press a key.
I'm going to take it into the Mac store as soon as I get a chance, but that might not be for a couple of days, and I use this thing a lot. Any advice? Has anyone else had this problem?

I have an ipad 3, a Droid phone, and a PC running Windows Vista. My Contacts are in Gmail and my Calendar is Google. No problems synching these between the 3 devices.
I want to synch Reminders from my ipad to my PC. I have set up iCloud on each one. In iCloud on my ipad I have turned on Contacts, Calendar, and Reminders. On my PC, at iCloud.com, my Contacts are all there but Calendar and Reminders are blank. Why aren't they synching?

Example, in the facebook login page. After I type my username and password correctly,
they keep turning the page back to the login page before I sign in.

Ok tried so many ways to find location reset locations on been to apple store worked fine THERE
not my IPad or settings
Was working fine till I up graded to os 6.1.3

I have put it restore mode by holding the 'home' button and connecting it to my computer, but then it asks me to 'update and restore'. All good there, until.. After downloading about 200mb of the update, it gives me an error message telling me that iTunes cannot connect to this iPad because I require a passcode to unlock to iPad. My Ipad 4 won't hold a charge. It was fine for the 1st month of use, but yesterday it started draining with regular use. I keep it plugged in, checked the connections, changed the location of the plug and nothing helped. All locations charge my iPhone 5 just fine so it must be the iPad. This is the 2nd iPad that this has happened to. Any suggestions? (I keep the ipad in the case with no damage, no water spills, no over heating, etc....just regular use).
I've been trying to charge my ipad but there is no indication that its charging. I used to be able to access my movies at home via file sharing on my computer's iTunes. My ipad3 still works beautifully so I'm guessing something is up with my ipad2 that no longer works. It's really frustrating I have to go into both devices to delete emails off them. I don't want to delete them off my PC, I know how to connect both so it deletes off my server if i need to. I just want to delete off ipad and it goes off iphone too.
I apologise if this has already been asked, but I couldn't find exactly what I wanted in any searches.

i just bought wifi printer canon MG3170. I already setup the printer with my imac 2011 21.5". both printer and mac already in the same network, and I dont have problem using airprint between those two.
the problem is, I cannot do airprint from my iphone or ipad 2 (wifi only). both devices cannot detect the printer. (it says: no airprint printers found)
both devices are also already within the same network. does anyone know what happened and what should i do to make it work?
there are some instructions in the manual books that specifically guides airprint setting, but the instructions can be executed only if I use wifi router as my wifi source. It says i have to push WPN button on my router.
For your information, I'm using internet sharing features from my imac. it is LAN-to-wifi. so in short, I use my imac as a wifi router. so i don't have the slightest idea where on my imac is the WPN button.

I recently bought an iPad Mini, so I set it up absolutely fine. But I had to authorize (just the once) to buy items. I had no problem with that.
So I answered my security questions. I got them wrong and there was no reset button so I tried different answers.

I bought an iPhone 3s, then an iPad 2' which then synced to my iPhone, using the same apple ID. This meant that the iMessage was synced between the iPad and the iPhone. All good so far.
I have now bought a new Iphone 5 , in addition to the iPhone 3, which has a new number. I change the phone number in my Apple ID to the new number, but my iPad still synced its iMessages with the old phone, not the new phone.
I intend to cancel he service with the old iPhone 3 and stop using that number.
However, I cannot find a way to change the number in my iPad to the new one.
I would appreciate some tips on how to do this. Thanks.

How do you get rid of the iOS diagnostics tab when multitasking between tabs/apps? Even when only one app is open, the iOS diagnostic screen is there when using the multitasking gesture. When I enter in the ticket number sent to my email, it does not recognize it. I've already tried syncing with iTunes, turning the ipad off and on, hard reset, and resetting to factory settings. It does not show as an app or anything for me to close.
I was switched to the UK App Store after I agreed to look to one of the apps. Now I am having trouble going back to the US store. I looked at the settings and I don't see how I can do that.

I thought I did it succesfully, but when I try to update to I.O.S. 6 a popup says that I haven't and asks if I still want to continue. I tried transferring them again but the "Sync" screen on my Ipad quickly flashes & disappears and nothing else happens making me think that there is nothing more to transfer. Where can I see the transferred files on iTunes to confirm that they transferred and/or why am I getting the message that they are not transferred before I try to update the I.O.S?

A friend is attending an industry expo next week and wants to be able to show his company web site to potential customers. Problem is, his iPad is wifi only and the expo's organizers are charging a princly sum to connect to their wifi network.
On the Mac, there's an app called Fluid that can turn a web site into a standalone application. Is there a similar app for the iPad? Something that would allow him to show his web site without a network connection?

I am shooting RAW + JPG small on a Canon 5D Mark 2. I just bought an iPad mini to take with me on location for previewing images in the field. I am using the camera connection cable to transfer directly from camera to iPad.
What I learned so far:
1. The Apple photo import app does not give a choice to import JPG only. It is also an app, that has basically no features at all, but seems to be the only app, that opens, when connected to a camera. I can only shake my head in disbelieve, that Apple throws such an app at it's customers in iOS 6 and the year 2013!
2. Shuttersnitch lets you import JPGs only, but is for Wifi transfer only. I learned the hard way, since I bought the app and then found that out. It is possible to import images on the iPad into shuttersnitch, but then only the ones, that were imported by the apple photo app, which leaves me at point 1.
3. Photosmith seems to go hand in hand with lightroom, but it is buggy as far as all the comments are concerned. Also, as far as my reading goes, it seems that Photosmith also only imports images into the app, that were previeously imported by the camera connection kit, which again leaves me at point 1. I am also not willing to spend more money on apps, that will not do, what I need them to do.
My question:
Using the camera connection kit, is the Apple importing photo app the only application, that is able to import photos? If not, which other app is able to do that and would also be able to import JPGs only, when shooting RAW + JPG?
I did not realize, that it is such a pain in the neck to get photos onto the iPad and then into a third party application for viewing or editing. That does remind me of the old times, when OS 8 or 9 had a few "features" that were hindering people to, for example, use third party cd-burners or other little things to make work more effective.
Input, apps that would do the job or any feedback is appreciated.

Sound is fine through the speakers, however I have issues through the headphone jack.
I still get keyboard clicks and lock and unlock clicks, so I know the headphones and the socket are working fine, however there is no other sound coming through.
I have rebooted several times and updated the latest software etc.
Ipad showed "no SIM" when restarted it recognized cell service. Happened again and now is stuck. Have restarted but no change. Ideas?

I did the "View account > Change Region". It says it's in Canada but the AppStore is still in Korean.

Has anyone else been experiencing playback issues within Home Sharing on any iPad. I am on the iPad 2 and whenever I begin playing an episode or any form of video media, the controls seem to freeze after a few minutes of play, but the file continues to play without any issues. The main problem is that you cannot play/pause, high speed scrub, etc. I am always forced to "force quit" the Video's app and start over again, but it takes 2 force quits to accomplish this. Somewhat annoying. I wonder how fully supported iOS 6 is with iPad 2. I have noticed a substantial amount of slow down even with mutli-gestures. Everything seems delayed. Looking forward to hearing peoples comments.

Tried to update without success says updating but never gets there.
The update warning remains on ISP store, most annoying.

I have the latest AppleTV and Ipad. I cannot get home sharing working, all settings are correct but nothing happens. I returned to the apple store who connected TV box directly to network with cable and home sharing worked between the 2 devices.
I went home and switched on, it worked (both on wifi). Next day tried again, thinking it was all there and nothing.
I tried the tips on the community pages without success. I called Apple helpline, they ran through all my settings which were correct, but still nothing, after 2/3 days they called me back to tell me to wait for Apple software update to solve this problem !!
is something happening on this issue, please can someone tell me. On my old Ipad I just used a Component cable, but this will not work with the new pad, I got the adaptor plug and nothing happens, no output.

You will have to delete stuff from your iPad to make way for your TV Show.
Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Delete what you don't need.

This only happens from www.guardian.co.uk (so far). It started a week ago. It happens automatically – I don’t touch the screen or click on adverts. It happens every time I go the site, and at any time of day. I am running IoS 6.1.3. JavaScript is on. The pop-up blocker is on. I have cleared the cookies and the history. I have been to Settings>Safari>Advanced>Website Data and cleared that. I still get the redirects. What can I do now?

My default email account is thru my DSL provider. I recently changed my email password and now any email I try to send on my iPad does not go thru. I receive incoming emails fine. Of course I changed my password in my iPad Mail settings but on that screen it shows one place to enter password and appears as if that would be for both incoming and outgoing emails. Changing my email password worked fine on my MacBook Pro (same email account). Does anyone know what I need to do for my iPad to send emails if it has no problem receding them?

Several months ago I had to reformat my hard drive on my PC.
I lost some music which is still on my iPod touch.
I haven't been able to sync my iPod without losing music.
Can I use iTunes match to upload music from my iPod and get it back onto my PC?
Is there any other way to get the music from the iPod back onto my PC?
Also have music on an iPad which is on PC but not on iPod touch.

I have recently imported an album onto itunes and tryed to sync it but it wont.

My iTunes regularly requires two or more syncs before it will actually sync anything to any of my i-Devices (with the exception of one of the shuffles). It will say 'iPod synced' or 'iPad synced' after the first sync, but upon turning on the i-Device in question, nothing has actually been synced, and having ejected the device to check it (as in the case of iPods), I must now reconnect it, and sync it twice.
This morning, while syncing an iPad, it said that the iPad had been synced, but examining the items which I had added revealed that only a 1kb shell of the video in question had been synced. A placeholder, with no actual content. It took as long, if not longer, to sync that shell item as it does to run the second sync.
Sometimes it won't take for more than two syncs, and needs three or four to register any changes. This error occurs whether it's just one single song or video, or 100+.
This error is not limited to this computer, but as this computer has the most number of items syncing to it, I figured I ought to start here.
Running Windows 7 (64 bit)
iTunes 10.7.0.21 (and don't like the lack of usability in iTunes 11, so would prefer to avoid that upgrade, unless it's possible to get hold of a skin to make it look like it does in iTunes 10...)

Sync issue occuring on (in order of age):
iPod Nano 1st Gen 1GB
iPod Nano 2nd Gen 2GB
iPod Nano 3rd Gen 4GB
iPod Nano 4th Gen 8GB
iPod Classic 5th Gen 160GB
iPad 1 64GB with Data Connection (Whichever firmware came just before Apple Maps was added and Google Maps was taken off)
iPad 2 32GB wifi only (Whichever firmware came just before Apple Maps was added and Google Maps was taken off)
Error not currently occuring on iPod Shuffle 4th Gen 2GB on the first time it was synced with this computer rather than another in the house (loading approximately 12 items). Have not tested it on other shuffles in the house on this computer, but issue occurs on shuffles, including that 4th Gen one, on other computers.
I'm using an iPad cable bought from the Apple Store for syncs (obviously not including the Shuffles). This computer has no USB 3.0 ports on it, or I'd use that as well (although the 3.0 port has no change in the double-sync being required on our computer which does have a 3.0 port on it...)
Antivirus software is Spyware Doctor (paid), combined with Immunet Protect (free).
APS Daemon has been disabled, which has at least allowed the i-Devices to sync at all, rather than refusing to sync and then freezing the entire computer for up to three days (I'm not joking).
I've tried this with all non-critical functions and processes turned off in Task Manager, and the only program running as iTunes. No change.
iPads syncing wirelessly or cable-only makes no difference either (and having iPads on cable only while synching a different iPod to the machine makes no change either).
I am only plugging in one i-Device at a time.
Computer was last defragmented two weeks ago, and nothing major has been added since (although this is an ongoing issue, occuring over more than the last year, and has not been solved with other defrags).
Purchases to iTunes on all computers are limited to apps, no music. There are some podcasts and one video, none of which are being asked to sync to our iDevices at this time.
As an aside, clicking the shortcut to iTunes on the taskbar makes iTunes take fully ten minutes to start up, whereas rightclicking ths shotrcut on the desktop and selecting 'open' from the options, starts up the program in less than half a minute.
Ideas would be appreciated, this is getting silly. It should not take me more than half an hour to sync a single album to an iPod Nano (not including the time to turn on iTunes), or 45 minutes to sync a single ePub book to an iPad.
