Hello, when charging my ipad with an extra long lead it takes a lot longer to charge than with the lead it came with. Does anyone else experience this ? Thanks Edd
I am trying to get airplay running and stable at my office and the whole process has been TERRIBLE!
I just ran an internet speed test: http://www.speedtest.net/result/2555365707.png
Internet is blazing fast here, I have bluetooth enabled, along with the following devices that have been tested:
Airport
iPad 2's and 3's
iPhone 4, 4S, and 5
3 different apple tv 3rd Generation
and I have also tried apps such as "Airfoil, Reflection, Airparrot, Airserver, and Airfloat" Which are used for:
Using your computer as an airplay receiver for audio/video
Using your iOS devices as airplay speakers for airplay from itunes
Using your iOS devices as airplay speakers for all applications
Displaying your computer screen on your Apple TV or other airplay receivers
I can understand not all of these running as awesome as the iOS to AppleTV/Airport devices, but even when trying to do that, I have never been able to get smooth airplay results.
I have tried sending video from many different devices around the office and it will constantly display smooth for a few seconds, then basically freeze up for a few seconds, than fly through the backed up video super fast as it catches up and then will repeat the process all over.
Even just sending audio it will play smooth for a while, then it will get garggled and distorted briefly, over and over.
I have not had a lot of experience outside of the office with airplay, but I can say that the few instances I have tried outside of the office I have always faced similar problems and have never once seen mirroring work smooth at all.
Finally, the last issue is, sometimes I have the apple tv devices just drop off the map completely from the airplay menu. Usually this will happen to a few devices when trying to look for the apple tv and eventually all of them will no longer be able to see the apple tv until it has been manually restarted.
and trying to connect it through a wired connection will make it vanish from all devices.
Please help me figure out what the problem is and how to get the very best Airplay experience!
Thank You!
