Draw Something causes Apple TV to come out of standby

When starting the "Draw Something" app on my I-phone or I-pad, the start up "splash screen" seems to be interpreted by iOS as a video & causes Apple TV to come out of standby (assuming AirPlay had been left selected to Apple TV)

I have reported the issue to Zynga, who tell me an updated version of Draw Something addresses this issue, however the version currently available on the App Store (created Dec 28th 2012) appears to be the same (problematic) version I already have.

Airplay not working with Linksys e4200, when attempting to mirror IPAD2 to AppleTV 2, causes all wireless connections to bounce.

New router (Linksys e4200) installed, new AppleTV (2).  Everything works but mirroring Ipad2 to TV.  Could share laptop (stream movies from pc with itunes) and AppleTV worked fine.  However, when attempting to activate Airplay to mirror Ipad2, all wifi connections drop (even to unrelated laptops).  Found references to channel conflicts with neighbors, and changed router to use unique channels (must change to 'manual' config in router wireless settings), but did not help.

Causes of slow startup?

I don't know the basics of maintaining this Apple product. After 8 months of steady use of my iPad, it is getting slower and slower to start up. Can someone guide me to do some basic maintenance? Thank you.
