Sync with multiple iCloud accounts one on iMac

We have one iMac in the house, and have recently gotten 2 iPad's.

 

We want to be able to sync documents from the iPads to the iMac to work on, but want to have separate iPad accounts. Do we have to setup different user logons on the iMac, or can the iMac sync with two separate iClouds at once?
