You mean Mac OS X 10.6.8, or iOS?
Assuming you mean Mac OS X:
If you don't already have a version of 10.6, you will need to buy it: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard. This page has the requirements to run Snow Leopard as well as the link to buy it.
If you already have 10.6.x, go to the Apple menu in the upper left and click Software Update.
