iTunes can't find iPad 2 since 11.01.12 update


I am running Windows XP Pro and since iTunes updated to 11.01.12, it doesn't find my iPad 2 to allow me to sync.
The computer finds it fine.



It did this twice before after iTunes updates, but tech support told me to do this:




Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order. Then, restart your computer.



    iTunes


    QuickTime


    Apple Software Update


    Apple Mobile Device Support


    Bonjour


    Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)




The next time it happened, I again followed these steps and it worked



Sadly since iTunes updated to 11.01.12, it doesn;t work - I have tried it three (long!) times now.



Can anyone help?
