Re: Help, iPad's "other" space taking so much space!!!!!

The problem with this is that it can happen because of a lot of factors. The only thing I would ask of Apple, if they can't find any specific cause, is to report better that "Other" space. This would allow people to single out an app or blame the operating system.

I had this problem with an iPad 3rd Gen, contacted Apple for support and actually got my iPad replaced. Since then I didn't have the same problem but I've added a second iOS device to the same iCloud account.

I'm just saying that I cannot say for 100% certainty that the iPad was faulty. I believe my problem had something to do with iCloud caching and having two devices can help invalidate each other's cache thus not allowing them to accumulate big amounts of cache.

I'd suggest people to contact Apple support if they can so they can get help. They were very helpful with me through all the process.
