I don't have a computer. I have an iPad2. It doesn't seem very customer-friendly that Apple requires iPad2 users with version iOS 4.3 to use a computer to update to version iOS6. They don't tell you that when you plonk down your $1,000 to buy their "latest" device.
I also don't thimk it is right that Apple requires its customers to either load their iTunes account by purchasing an iTunes card or provide a credit card in order to get access to Facetime and free 3rd party Apps, like Netflix for example. Facetime is an advertised feature of the device but is not really included in the purchase price if one has to jump through all these hoops.
I am beginning to really HATE Apple. It takes several days to hear back from their Customer Service and then they supply an incomplete and unhelpful answer. I have had to spend a lot of time searching the Apple site for answers.
I am thinking of launching an online complaint to the US consumer protection agency.
