mail app can't send attachment

Hi all,

i have an Exchange 2010 Server at my workplace. Users access Exchange 2010 from internet through the Squid (3.2) reverse proxy.

When Apple device users try to send (or forward incoming) email with attachment (we found that an attachment must be greater than 10Kb), device tries to send for about 5 minutes, and then shows an error.

It's very strange, but if i terminate Mail.app in iOS (means when i hold finger on app for a long time), before the error shows, emails are immediatly sent. After reopening a Mail.app, i see this emails in "Sent" folder of the Exchange server.

If an attachment is smaller than 10Kb, everything is ok.

When i try to send email with attachment without Squid, through the OpenVPN connection, directly to the Exchange, it's ok.

Windows phone and Android users are ok.

Can somebody tell me, what does Mail app waits before an error? Why message sends after terminating the app?

Does anybody knows a  solution to avoid such troubles?
