Re: Computer crashed, can't remove photos from iPad

Hello all.

I got an iPad 3 this past summer, and synced some photos to it through iTunes on my Mac. Unfortunately, a few months later that Mac crashed and I had to get the entire harddrive replaced. (On the good side, I didn't lose anything because I'm a master of backing up my files.)

Anyway, the problem I have now is that I no longer want many of those synced photos on my iPad, but I cannot delete them the way that I know from research that we're supposed to...by connecting it to the computer that the images were synced from...because that computer technically no longer exists (the outsides to, the insides don't.)

So how am I now supposed to delete these images? I've connected the iPad to my new-harddrive computer and my laptop, but of course the synced images on the iPad don't show up in iPhoto on either computer. I don't sync my iPad to any computer anymore. I'm strickly iCloud, which I love.

I've spent a few weeks doing internet searches to help myself, but keep coming up against the same answer, which doesn't apply in my situation since the computer no longer exists. Help? Thanks.
