I've had my ipad2 for about 14 months. It only worked for the first two, then it went bonkers.I put it away until today. I took it the the genius bar at my local apple store. The problem is that it is locked (I didn't lock it.) and it does not respond to touch. The genius guy told me that it could not be repaired because it is all in one piece and can not be opened for repair. He did offer to accept it as a trade-in for another ipad2 if I paid $249.Has anyone else had this experience? Has anyone been told that their iPad2 could not be repaired? Thx.
